The Radiology Imaging Center provides the following services:
- General X-ray: Includes chest X-rays, as well as X-rays of the arms, legs, and various parts of the body’s skeletal system.
- Special X-ray: Such as barium swallow for examining the digestive system, barium enema for examining the large intestine, radiographic studies of the urinary system using contrast agents, and hysterosalpingography for examining the fallopian tubes in women with infertility issues.
- High-Speed Computed Tomography (CT Scan): Utilizes a high-speed computerized X-ray machine to produce three-dimensional images of various organs. This method can capture images of moving organs, such as blood vessels and intestines, as well as images of the brain, chest, liver, and other organs.
- Ultrasound: Uses ultrasound machines to examine various organs, including the liver, gallbladder, and urinary bladder.
- Mammogram: A specialized X-ray examination of the breasts using a mammography machine designed to detect abnormalities in breast tissue, locate tumors, and identify other conditions. It can detect lumps smaller than 1 centimeter, and the hospital provides trained female professionals to perform the examinations.
- High-Frequency Echocardiogram: Examines the heart and heart valves using high-frequency sound waves to detect abnormalities.
- Bone Densitometry: Used to measure bone density and detect osteoporosis.
